Trust infrastructure for healthcare.
Hutano — Shona for health — is building the verified, fair and accountable rail that Zimbabwe's healthcare workforce runs on.
Healthcare staffing in Zimbabwe runs on WhatsApp groups, paper timesheets and trust that can't be checked. A facility needs a nurse by morning and posts to four groups. Thirty people reply. No one knows who's actually licensed, who showed up late at their last shift, or who will vanish after one day. The rate posted at nine dollars becomes six when they arrive.
Hutano replaces that with something the system has never had: a verified record of every professional, a rate that's locked and honoured, proof of who worked when, and a reputation that travels with each person across every facility.
We're building it with the Ministry of Health & Child Care, not around it — so that credential checks run against the national registry, and the country gains real visibility into where its healthcare workforce is needed most.
Trust
Every professional verified against the national registry. No exceptions.
Fairness
Locked rates, two-way ratings. The same fair deal for facilities and staff.
Local
Built for how Zimbabwe actually works — WhatsApp-first, EcoCash-ready, mobile-first.
